New release CHAPTERS/INDIGO REVIEWS 1. Growth Season – Inside Out***** In this traditional self-help book, Berger postulates that many of the fears and anxieties people have as adults stem from childhood. Nothing new there, but Berger’s style makes this one of the easiest books on emotional healing out there. Filled with case histories (brief, but they get the point across) that many readers will identify with, the book covers a wide range of emotional topics such as need, loneliness, anger, guilt, hurt, regret and grief. There’s a great list of feeling words that may help someone who can’t or isn’t used to articulating their feelings. The book certainly isn’t a cure-all for any of these emotional ailments, nor does it claim to be, but it’s a great start for anyone looking to improve emotional relationships with parents, children and partners. 2. Emotional Fitness Guide This book demystifies the world of feelings and what they mean in achieving a healthy emotional life. Please, more of this. We all have a tangled web of feelings from our past. It is refreshing to read a book which recognizes that we are all emotionally responsible and most importantly capable of finding our own way (sometimes with help) to our own unique wholeness. 3. Emotional Fitness Janice Berger’s book is a very warm, well-written introduction to the vital importance of feelings and the process which she calls Deep Emotional Processing Therapy. Rather than using a cumbersome, pseudo-scientific writing style typical of psychology books, Berger simply speaks to you. This is a book for people, although it will also give the academics and medical professionals something to think about. Everyone can find themselves in this book! And it is presented in such a non-intimidating, common-sense manner that it is ideal to give to friends and family. Janice Berger has written a book that belongs in our minds, on our shelves, and in the hands of everyone who can read. 4. Fabulous book This book has increased my self knowledge tremendously. It has also helped me identify the root of various behaviors that I wish to understand and ultimately change. A fabulous book for any gender. One that will support real and lasting emotional growth. 5. Emotional Fitness This is a profoundly valuable book to read. It takes much courage to
face the truth. With the guidance of this book one will see that there
is hope. We can heal emotionally and physically. We can set ourselves
free. This book will set you on the road to authentic healing. I have
been working as an RN for 18 years. I have seen a lot of illness, and
so many times the sickness has a haunting connection to the patient’s
emotional well being. I bought one for all the important people in my
life. My husband and I have read it together word for word. I highly
recommend it. To order:
