"Dear Madam"
With appreciation, I read the article “Germany faces up to slavery
of children in post-war years” in the Irish Times. So far, the
Irish Times is the only non German Newspaper who addressed the post
war human rights violation.
Beyond being used as slave laborers, the institutionalized, endured
unspeakable abuse. We as the victims of this Nazi hierarchy thinking
society we were pruned as humans 2nd class to support the economical
boom and serve cheep laborers.

Comment to Haunting Shadows from the Past
I just finished reading Haunting
Shadows from the Past by Sieglinde W. Alexander. I’m deeply
impressed by this honest and courageous book full of truth and wisdom.
The reader is allowed to witness the process of awakening and healing.
The psychological wounds inflicted by emotional blind, abusive parents,
- who never felt the endless pain they inflicted on their child.
Many times, I started crying, overwhelmed by the experiences the girl
had to suffer throughout childhood and adolescence: all those terrible
beatings, humiliations, neglect and betrayal, the parents’ endlessly
hurting and destructiveness that injured the girl’s integrity
and dignity.
Being a victim of child mistreatment and abuse as well, I am thankful
to Sieglinde W. Alexander’s fearless revealing. It will help and
encourage me saving myself from my own dark shadows from the past.

I agree with your headline “Post-traumatic stress syndrome seen
in many besides veterans” and add that there are millions more
who suffer from PTSD since childhood.

Dear Kathleen,
I appreciate your thought of having me on the radio. My subject
however is not limited to one kind of abuse.
As I stated in my previous email, organizations like “No Spank”
do not really contribute to a solution of the fundamental problem. They
raise dust, without changing anything. If I looked at the results Jordan
Riak has brought in the last 20 years of his work, I must say I can
find nothing that contributes to a solution.

Dear Madam:
I am aware of many ignored letters to you about Vincent Brownes
statement:
I cannot see the legitimacy of criminalising simply the viewing
of child pornography, when no payment is made for the material. Acquiring
(without payment) such material causes no harm.
